About dry extracts

Dry extracts are the workhorse of food supplement formulation: concentrated, stable and easy to dose in capsules, tablets and powder blends. The range covers native extracts with a stated drug-to-extract ratio and standardised (titrated, TIT.) extracts with a guaranteed content of a marker compound, e.g. 1.5% withanolides or 20% luteolin.

Check the carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, corn starch), solvent and marker content in the specification, and the novel food status of the plant for food use in the EU. Approved business buyers download the specification and safety data sheet online; a certificate of analysis comes with every lot.
