Privacy policy

This policy explains how we process personal data when you use euingredients.com.

Controller

MPG LAB, trgovina na debelo d.o.o., Sermin 75P, 6000 Koper, Slovenia. Contact for privacy questions: info@mpg-lab.com.

Data we process

  • Account and company data — name, company, VAT ID, country, industry, email, phone and password (stored encrypted).
  • Quote requests, RFQs and messages — products, quantities, delivery details and our correspondence with you.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser and device data, pages visited (see our Cookie policy).

Purposes and legal bases

  • Account, quotes, orders and customer service — performance of a contract and pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • VAT verification, invoicing and record keeping — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Security of the website and fraud prevention — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Analytics, advertising measurement and product news by email — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Recipients and processors

We use carefully selected service providers acting on our instructions: website hosting in Slovenia (Domenca d.o.o.), database hosting in the EU (Supabase, Frankfurt region), email delivery, consent management (Usercentrics/Cookiebot) and — only with your consent — Google analytics and advertising tools. Where data is transferred outside the EU, this is based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Quotes, orders and invoices are kept as long as required by tax and commercial law (generally 10 years). Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until you withdraw consent.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent. To exercise your rights, write to info@mpg-lab.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec, www.ip-rs.si).
